Gale Frederick Dhein, 79, of Eau Claire, took his last difficult breath here on earth and went to his new home in Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 01, 2016. Gale was born in Waupun, WI on February 7, 1937, a son of Fred and Violet (Schuchardt) Dhein. He, along with his mother and sister, lived with his maternal grandmother in Waupun, where he attended school. His summers were spent with his father at the resort on Oak Lake in Spooner, WI. Gale graduated from Waupun High School with the Class of 1955. After completing a year of college at Oshkosh State Teacher's College, Gale enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on March 5, 1957. He was honorably discharged from active duty on August 18, 1960. After serving in the Air Force, Gale worked for First Wisconsin National Bank and remained with the company for 35 years. On June 13, 1964, Gale married Joalle Claussen, in Sheboygan, WI. They are members of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Eau Claire. Gale retired from work in May of 1996. He spent the last 20 years golfing, spending time with family, friends and neighbors, and playing cribbage on the computer. Gale is survived by his wife, Joalle; four children, Dave (Stacey) Dhein, William Dhein, Karen Gahr and Thomas (Lisa) Dhein; five grandchildren, Alyssa, Nathan, Lucas, Alexa and Kiley. Gale's family was his proudest accomplishment, and he will be dearly missed by them all. The family would like to invite you to come and celebrate his life at his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1712 Highland Ave. in Eau Claire with Father William Dhein officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with a Prayer Vigil at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at the WEST CHAPEL location of Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral & Cremation Services, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave. in Eau Claire. THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION PRIOR TO THE MASS FRIDAY AT THE CHURCH. Entombment will be in the Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery in Eau Claire, with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post 53. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sojourner House, 618 S.
