Gary Schulner, age 78, of Eau Claire, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI. Gary was born on March 19, 1938, to the late Joseph and Ella (nee Faast) Schulner in Durand, WI. He served our nation in the U.S. Air Force, and later worked as a tire builder at Uniroyal. On July 11, 1958, he married Trudy Wettengel. He enjoyed going to his cottage on Lake Holcombe with his family, fishing, grilling out, and gardening. Gary loved his children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Gary is survived by his children, Diane (Kevin) Willer, Michael (Shelly), Craig (Michelle), and Richard (Sherri) Schulner; and grandchildren, Matthew and Brianna Willer, and Tanner, Jayme, Caleb, Travis, Heather, and Samantha Schulner. Gary is further survived by other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Trudy; his parents; and his siblings.
