Geraldine "Gerry" M. Green, 83, of Eau Claire died Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at Clairemont Nursing Home. She was born in Eau Claire on November 27, 1921, the daughter of Peter and Emilie (Anderson) Grindereng Green. Gerry graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School. She worked as a secretary and accountant for various organizations in the Eau Claire area.\r\nGeraldine is survived by a special nephew, Michael P. Kohnen of Holcombe; and special great-nieces, Deloris L.E. Kohnen of Eau Claire and Nicole L. Kohnen of Los Angeles, CA; special great-nephews, Michael P. (Becky) Kohnen, II of Clayton, John F. (Pamela) Kohnen, and William P. (Amanda) Kohnen, both of Chetek.\r\nGeraldine is also survived by nieces and nephews: Judith (Larry) Baker of Mokelumne Hill, CA, Natalie (Barry) Golden of Prescott, AZ, David (Phyllis) Green of Williams, AZ, Dennis (Fran) Green of Tucson, AZ, Ronald Green, and Barbara (Gale) Thom, all of Eau Claire, Kia Eleanor Hurtley (Vefald) of Palmdale, CA, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Lancor of Green Bay, Burton (Leslie) Morton of Fullerton, CA; one brother-in-law, Woodrow Lancor of Wisconsin; two sisters-in-law, Edith Green of Eau Claire and Anna Uniel Green of Tuscon, AZ; and many great-great-nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by two brothers and ten sisters.\r\nGerry will be greatly missed by all who knew, liked, and loved her.\r\nFuneral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2005, at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at church.\r\n
