Gerald J. Frank, 99, of Bloomer, WI, formerly of Eau Claire, passed away January 28, 2009 at his home. He was born in Eau Claire to Joseph H.&Irene M. (Glazier) Frank on May 5, 1909. He attended St. Mary's Grade and High School in Altoona. \r\nHe took many correspondence courses and became an accountant. Gerry married Mary Elizabeth Vosburg on January 30, 1932. Mary passed away on August 17, 1971. Gerry married Elaine Hagman on June 9, 1973.\r\nGerry was a charter member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church of Eau Claire and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was employed by NSP, in Property Records, for 47 years until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and traveling. \r\nGerry is survived by his daughters, Mary Frank of Bloomer&Elizabeth (James) Olinger of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Michael (Bonnie) Armstrong, Geraldine (Garry) Brown, John Armstrong, all of Chippewa Falls, James (Jayne) Armstrong of San Jose, CA, David (Kim) Olinger of Eau Claire, Daniel & Denyl Olinger of Minnesota; six great-grandchildren, Nicole Brown, Jacob, Joshua, Jared, Cailin & Faith Armstrong; & brother-in-law, Brother Edward Hagman. \r\nGerry was preceded in death by his first wife; Mary; second wife, Elaine; a sister, Elaine; & a brother, Bob.\r\nHe will be missed by all who loved him.\r\nA Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 noon, on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, with Father John A. Schultz officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. Friends may call an hour prior to the service at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving his family.\r\n
