GERALD V. GRAY, 85, formerly of 3626 Seymour Rd., passed away Friday, February 16, 2001 at Oakwood Villa in Altoona. He was born on November 17, 1915, in Foster, Wisconsin, the son of Walter and Frances (Stone) Gray. Gerald married Emmeline L. Thompson on August 27, 1938 in Whitehall, WI.\r\nGerald grew up in Milwaukee and spent later years in Eau Claire working for Sterling Pulp and Paper Co., retiring in 1977. \r\nHe is survived by his wife, of 62 years, Emmeline; son, Dennis Gray of Beulah, ND; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Barbara Gray; a sister and four brothers. \r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2001 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Joel D. Hoelter officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Eau Claire. Friends may call an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
