Obituary

Gerald "Jerry" D. Mc Mahon, 74, of 521 Congress Street died Sunday, February 18, 1996 at the Center of Care.Jerry was born June 17, 1921 in Eau Claire to Marshall and Mary (Urban) Mc Mahon. He was a graduate of St. Patricks High School with the class of 1939. He was stationed in Guam with the US Army during World War II and was honorably discharged on November 15, 1945. Jerry retired as an inspector with Uniroyal in 1982 after 36 years of service. He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church. \r\nSurvivors include a brother, Arthur (Doris) Mc Mahon of Eau Claire; eight nieces, Kathleen (Craig) Kirks of Andover,MN, Barbara (Ronald) Husby, Patricia (Thomas) Allee, Jacklyn (Bryan) Tainter, Mary (Robert) Drabek all of Eau Claire, Cindy Mc Mahon of Minneapolis,MN, Sherrill Ferazza of Hayward, CA, and Jayne (Scott) Schroeder of Winter; two nephews, James Anderson and Michael (Peggy) Mc Mahon both of Eau Claire.\r\nJerry was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Patrick and a sister, Kathleen Anderson.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 11 A.M. Friday at St. Patricks Catholic Church with Father Charles J. Hiebl officiating. Burial will be in St. Patricks Catholic Cemetery with VFW Post 305 conducting military graveside rites.Friends may call 4 to 6 P.M. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home.
