Gerald "Gerry" M. Olsen, 58 of 554 Daisy Street, Chippewa Falls died Wednesday, February 21, 1996 at his home. He was born July 13, 1937 in Eau Claire to Milton and Nellie (Liskum) Olsen. He graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1955. Gerry married Elaine Celesnik in the Town of Edson on September 1, 1962. He had been a former member of 397th Engineer Battalion, Eau Claire. Due to ill health Gerry retired in 1992 from M&L Motor Supply after 25 years of service. His family will remember his enjoyment for hunting and fishing.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Elaine; a daughter, Deb (Roy) Beigler of Chippewa Falls; his father-in-law, Peter Celesnik of Chippewa Falls; aunts, uncles, cousins and his faithful dog "Misty". He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Esther Celesnik.\r\nGraveside services will be 1:30 P.M. Saturday at Forest Hill Cemetery with Father Edmund Klimek of Sacred Heart Hospital officiating. Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home is serving the family.\r\nThe Family requests that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Eau Claire Humane Association.
