Geraldine M. Vatne , 77 passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, at Lake Hallie Memory Care. Geraldine was born on March 4, 1947 in Eau Claire to Theodore and Constance Butterfield. Geraldine graduated from Regis High School in 1965. On August 14th,1982, Geri married Larry Vatne. Larry and Geri enjoyed many years together especially being grandparents. During her journey having Lewybody Dementia, we were blessed by the outstanding care, compassion, and comfort provided by St. Croix Hospice. Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Tara Sorensen; grandson, Bronson and son-in-law, Rolf Sorensen. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Larry; her parents; sister, Beatrice and brother, Steve. Per her wishes, there will be no funeral. A private graveside burial will take place in April. Rest in peace Sweet Momma.
