Geraldine M. Prueher, 77, of Eau Claire died Monday, June 09, 2008, at Clairemont Nursing Home. \r\nShe was born in Eau Claire on October 2, 1930, the daughter of Raymond and Helen (Schuch) Lund.\r\nGeraldine married Arthur J. Prueher on June 2, 1956 in Eau Claire at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.\r\nShe worked as a school teacher at Fall Creek and St. Patrick's Catholic School until she retired\r\nGeraldine is survived by her two sons, David Prueher and Robert (Kelly) Prueher both of Eau Claire; five daughters, Ruth-Ann (Duane) Mahder of Eau Claire, Jean Walter (Lenny Enerson) of Chippewa Falls, Mary Ellen Brownell, Anita (Mike) Schlageter, and Barbara Prueher (Kurt Moltz) all of Eau Claire; and fourteen grandchildren, Chad and Shawn Mahder, Ancilla Walter, Rick Townsend, Kevin Boeselager, Kelsey Prueher, Roxanne (Kris) Brown, Jackie Brownell, Adam and Tony Boss, Jade and Mckayla Olson, and Megan and Katelyn Prueher; two great-grandchildren, Aryanah Brown and Hunter Boss; a sister-in-law, Mary Lund of Eau Claire; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband Arthur in 1996; a daughter Karen Boeselager; a brother, Romaine Lund; and two grandsons, Andrew Boss and Michael Prueher. \r\nShe will always be remembered for her love for her family and friends, spending time at the cottage, cooking for everyone, and hunting and fishing with family. She loved to go pontooning and having a cold one. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.\r\nMass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. G. Valentine Joseph and the Rev. Mr. Deacon Larry Agema officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to Mass on Thursday at church. A public prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
