Geraldine I. Quick, 90, of Eau Claire, died Monday, November 9, 2009, at the Syverson Lutheran Home in Eau Claire.\r\nGeraldine was born on September 30, 1919, in Eau Claire, the daughter of Charles and Myrtle (Green) Quick. \r\nShe worked at Luther Hospital as a Dietician Assistant for over 30 years. Geraldine raised her niece, Jackie Quick, after her mother died during childbirth. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. \r\nGeraldine is survived by a brother, James; and several nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers, Fred, Harry, Ray, Orv, and Dwayne.\r\nFuneral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at the Trebus Memorial Chapel in the Syverson Lutheran Home, with Pastor Debra Boynton officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. Family and friends may call 1 hour prior to the start of the service at the nursing home.\r\nThe family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Randall Casper and the staff at the Syverson Lutheran Home for all the years of care they provided Geraldine.\r\n
