Obituary

GLADYS H. KEITH, 93, of 217 Lake St., died Monday, April 10, 2000 at Dove Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on August 20, 1906 in Almena, WI, to Henry and Ethel (Wold) Peterson. Gladys graduated from Cumberland High School before attending Business College in the Twin Cities. She married Thomas Gordon Keith in Eau Claire on June 7, 1947. \r\nGladys was a 50-year member of The Daughters of The American Revolution, a member of the Eau Claire Women's Club, Eau Claire County Humane Assoc., and together with her husband she was active in other community affairs and bridge circles.\r\nSurvivors include a loving group of nieces and nephews, extended family and lifelong friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Thomas Gordon, in 1998; and two brothers, Ralph and Clarence Peterson.\r\nFuneral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Gary L. Burnett officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 9:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church.
