Gloria L. Berg, 73, of Eau Claire died Monday, August 27, 2007, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire surrounded by her family.\r\nShe was born in Eau Claire on August 6, 1934, the daughter of Oscar and Ida (Wik) Stenseth.Gloria graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1952.\r\nGloria married Ronald W. Berg on June 5, 1953, in Hastings, MN. \r\nShe was a homemaker for many years, but was employed for a short time at the Eau Claire Academy in food service. Her hobbies included crocheting, needlepoint, antique restoration and collection. She was also an avid traveler. Above all, she enjoyed being a grandmother to her nine grandchildren.\r\nGloria is survived by her husband, Ronald W. of Eau Claire; four children, Gary Berg of Eau Claire, Marlene (LeeRay) Bauer of Naples, FL, Dan Berg of Lindon, UT, Sharon (Gary) Traynor of Eau Claire; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Violet Tollefson of Eleva, and Gladys Hammond of Eau Claire. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Daniel Berg; two brothers, and a sister. \r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday August 31, 2007, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Amy Odgren officiating. Private burial services will be held Saturday at St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery, Bloomer, WI. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home. A public prayer service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. with Dave Lato officiating.\r\nMemorials to the family are preferred.\r\nWe love you and we'll meet again.
