Gloria J. Reigel, age 74, of Eau Claire, died peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at The Clairemont Nursing Home in Eau Claire. She was born September 27, 1938, in Richland County, WI to Louis and Mildred (Buroker) Clason. Gloria attended Soldiers Grove High School graduating in the class of 1956. She then attended Eau Claire Teachers College. On February 27, 1960, Gloria married Joseph F. Reigel in Bakerville, WI. Gloria was a member St. James the Greater Catholic Church as well as the St. James PCCW since 1972. Gloria is survived by her husband, Joseph; four children, Marty (Marlene) Reigel, Lisa (Mike Zueg) Reigel, Linda Howard, and her children, Rainia and Myria, and Joseph (Jean) Reigel, and their children, Audrey and Sarah; two sisters, Shirley Keene and Lois Clement; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Woodrow; and brother-in-law, Dick. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 26, 2013, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 2502 11th Street, Eau Claire, with a visitation one hour prior to Mass at church. Father John A. Schultz will be officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire.
