Gloria A. Williams, 83, of Eau Claire, died Thursday, December 9, 2004, at Luther Hospital. She was born, in Almena, Wisconsin on November 22, 1921, the daughter of Murrel and Jennie (Peterson) Brannan. She graduated from Barron High School in 1939.\r\nGloria married Marlyn "Mannie" W. Williams in 1942 in Barron, Wisconsin.\r\nShe worked as a medical clerk at Lakeside Hospital in Rice Lake until moving to care for her parents.\r\nGloria enjoyed league bowling, traveling, and was a skilled artisan in arts and crafts. She loved being around her grandkids and was so very proud of all of them.\r\nSurvivors include her children, Kaye (Dick) Enderle of San Antonio, TX, Steven (Stephanie) Williams of Lakeview, MT, and Marla Haines of Eau Claire; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Danyel, Allison, Brock and Jodi; four great-grandchildren, Megan, Tanner, McKenzie and Taylor; two brothers, Vahl (Dorothy) Brannan of Balsam Lake, WI, Larry Brannan of Mounds View, MN; sister, Kathy Fairburn of Lyle, IL; and many nieces and nephews\r\nGloria was preceded in death by her husband, Marlyn in 1957; her parents; two sisters, Ardith Quarderer and Murriel Finsterwalder; and her brother, Bruce Brannan.\r\nMemorial services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2004, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Pastor Gary F. Sahs officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services assisted the family.
