Gordon David Charpentier, 76, of Eau Claire passed away on November 2, 2023 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born on March 5, 1947 to Richard and Marie (Trudeau) Charpentier. His first six years were spent in Hugo, MN. He then moved to St. Paul where he graduated from Central High. Gordon married the love of his life, Lorraine (Lange) on April 22, 1967 in Hector, MN. Together they lived in Minneapolis where four sons were born. Gordon worked for John Morrell Meats in St. Paul, MN and Estherville, IA for a total of 20 years. Moving to Fremont, NE he worked for Red Baron Pizza and then moved to Eau Claire, WI in 1987, working for Harkers and Lincare until his retirement. Gordon made many friends along the way with his friendly, amicable personality.

Gordon is survived by his wife Lorraine Charpentier; sons, Jason (Amanda) Charpentier, Colin (Erika) Charpentier, Ethan (Janet) Charpentier and Jeffrey Charpentier; grandchildren, Raquel (Josh), Trent, Addison and Averie; along with his siblings, Eugene (Lenore), and Doris (Rick); and many nieces, nephews and friends

He is preceeded by his parents, Richard and Marie Charpentier; and his siblings, Richard, Howard, Frank, Gary, Linda and Diane.

A Memorial Service will be held for Gordon on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 1:00pm at Lenmark Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, WEST CHAPEL on 1405 North Clairemont Avenue, with a visitation starting at 11:00am.
