Gordon E. Larson, 81, of Altoona, died on Friday, January 16, 2015, at his residence. Gordon was born in Black River Falls, WI, on June 2, 1933, to Edward and Tena (Johnson) Larson. On July 29, 1963, he married Ramona D. Goss. Gordon worked at Chrysler Motors in Kenosha, WI, for over 30 years. Gordon is survived by his son, Christopher Larson of Madison, WI; brother, Robert Larson of Kenosha, WI; and sisters, Carol (Vilas) Dahl of Galesville, WI, Marise (Don) Tilgore of Hannibal, MO, and Elaine Johnson of Inver Grove Heights, MN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ramona; brother, Kenneth Larson; and sister, Delores Olson. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave. in Eau Claire with Pastor Steven Rutter officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington. Military Rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 53 at the cemetery.
