Gordon "Gordy" E. Radle, age 57, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born on February 24, 1957, to Herman and Phyllis (Knudtson) Radle in Eau Claire, WI. Gordy graduated from Regis High School in 1975. He then attended CVTC, graduating with an Associate Degree in Business Marketing. He married the love of his life, Kathy J Heuer, on September 11, 1982, and over the last 32 years of marriage lived in Eau Claire and raised two beautiful daughters. Gordy worked at Pope & Talbot for over 16 years, helping with the start-up of Jettar Company, and worked at Presto Absorbant Products until November 2011. Gordy was first and foremost a family man. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his dogs, camping/traveling around in his motorhome and being a grill master. He was also a man of great faith. Gordy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kathy; daughters, Valarie (Jason) Bauer and Jessica (Kurt) Noyes; and granddaughter, Jocelyn Bauer. He is also survived by his mother, Phyllis Radle; mother-in-law, Beatrice Heuer; sisters, Donna (Greg) Lampman and Jane (Roger) Lecheler; brothers-in-law, Gary (Sheryl) Heuer and David Heuer, along with countless nieces & nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles, and friends. He is proceeded in death by his father, Herman Radle; father-in-law, Harvey Heuer; and his brothers-in-law, Danny Heuer & Jimmy Heuer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1812 Lynn Avenue, Altoona, with a visitation one hour prior to the Mass at church. Father Alan Guanella will be officiating. Interment will be in the Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery, Eau Claire.
