GRACE E. MILLER, 71, of Elk Mound, died Wednesday, June 17, 1998 at the American Lutheran Home in Menomonie. She was born on January 21, 1927 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Grant and Sarah (Meyer) Miller. During her childhood and early youth she lived in the Elk Mound area where she graduated form high school in 1945. Grace graduated in 1949 from Eau Claire Teachers College, with a degree in elementary education. She received her masters degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1966.\r\nGrace taught first grade in Wausau and then in Eau Claire where she lived until retiring in 1989. She then moved back to her farm home near Elk Mound. \r\nShe was a life time member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors include cousins; an aunt, Mrs. Eleanor (Theodore) Meyer of Elk Mound; and her many friends.\r\nGrace was preceded in death by her parents. \r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Elk Mound with Pastor Brian Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in the town of Elk Mound, Dunn County.
