GUDRUN "GOODY" REKSTAD, 91, of 1307 Wilson St., died peacefully at Luther Hospital on Sunday, October 14, 2001. She was born on July 17, 1910 in Eau Claire where she was raised and attended Eau Claire Public Schools.\r\nGoody married Marshall Rekstad, her husband of 56 years, who preceded her in death; as did her parents, Martin and Anna Christina (Christianson) Larson; sister, Lila Christina Kemna and brother-in-law, Emerson H. Kemna.\r\nShe is survived by her family, niece, Karen and her husband, Ken St. Louis of Eau Claire; Goody particularly cherished her great nephew, Erik and his wife, Kerith St. Louis of Iowa City, IA, and their children, Aren Brede, Kjersti Lila and Siri Christina.\r\nShe had many loving and supportive caregivers, particularly Lori Goss, who was her most constant companion, and, who we all treasure for her dedication.\r\nPrivate services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home.
