Obituary

Harriet B. Curtis, 87, of Eau Claire died Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at her home. She was born August 5, 1916 in Cornell, Wisconsin, the daughter of Archie and Elizabeth (Kaiser) Coggins. Harriet married Irving N. Curtis, Sr. on October 1, 1938 in Cornell, WI.\r\nSurvivors include her two sons, Melvin "Shorty" (Mary) of Minneapolis and Irving Jr. "Buzz" (Rose) of Eau Claire; five grandchildren, Michael (Kristi) Curtis of Edina, MN, Pamela (Phil) Foye of Chicago, IL, and Cindy (Kip) Stuebs of Eau Claire, Dawn (Doug) Robertson of Carver, MN and Mark Curtis of Woodbury, MN; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Irving in 1984; her parents; two sisters, Ione Curtis and Lilla Ewings; and two brothers, Frank and Melvin Coggins.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2004 at Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ with Pastor David Willingham officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
