Harriet Kins, 82, of Altoona died unexpectedly Friday, February 05, 2010, surrounded by her family and loved ones at Luther Hospital. \r\nShe was born on April 29, 1927, in Frederic, Wisconsin, the daughter of Sanford and Hazel (Adams) Ede.\r\nShe was baptized and confirmed at Central Lutheran Church in Mondovi, WI. She then attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. Harriet married Howard Kins December 10, 1949, and they were later divorced. \r\nHarriet was a mother who raised six children and all of their friends, along with being a real estate broker at United Farm Agency Real Estate in Mondovi, WI. She loved music, cooking, knitting, thrift sales, playing cards, and above all, loved the Lord and was a prayer warrior for her children and all she knew. \r\nShe is survived by her six children, Gail Klavetter of Mabel, MN, Jack (Mary) Kins of Eau Claire, Nancy (Dan) Robinson of Eau Claire, Jerry (Joette) Kins of Eau Claire, Mary (Steve) Butts of Lino Lakes, MN, and Beth (Steven) Fox of Star Prairie, WI; grandchildren; Eric (Heather) Klavetter, Brian (fiancé Stephanie) Klavetter, Laura (Brian) Kokos, Megan Klavetter, Randall Kins, Kathryn Kins, Toby (Kim) Robinson, Luke (Maggie) Robinson, Andrea (Adam) Barnes, Jeff (Beth) Sabelko, Sara Kins, Jason Kremer, Jenny (Tom) Swanson, Adam Kremer, Andy (Robin) Kins, Lindsay Butts, Kristen Butts, Crystal (Cory) Nedland, Matthew (fiancé Erica) Fox, Allison Fox; great- grandchildren; Parker, Elijah, Katherine, Abram, Murron, Douglas, Dominic, Michaela, Taylor, RuthAnn, Brady, Noah, Carter; brother, Arlis (Kathryn) Ede; brother-in-law, Verle Kins; nephews, Carl (Connie) Ede, John Ede, and David (Shannon) Ede; John (Bonny) Skovbroten, Gary (Ruth) Kins, David (Frankie) Kins, Erle (Darlene) Kins; niece, Elsie (Ron) Gabor; Harriet's bible study group; and other family and friends.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at Central Lutheran Church in Mondovi with Pastor Natalie Leske and Pastor Doug Lebsack officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Lutheran Cemetery in Mondovi. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home Monday, February 8, 2010, and one hour prior to services at the church Tuesday.
