(Anderson) Matthes Leipnitz, age 86, of Eau Claire, WI,\r\ndied January 10, 2011 at Dove Healthcare. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nShe was born on July\r\n22, 1924, in Eau Claire,\r\nto Harry and Lillian (Nelson) Anderson. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High\r\n School with the class of 1941. Harriet worked at\r\nDeutch Furs, Samuelson's Department Store, JC Penny Company, and The Country\r\nHouse. She retired from The Country House in 1974. Harriet married Earl W.\r\nMatthes May 26, 1946, at First\r\n Lutheran Church.\r\nEarl died on March 11, 1971. On July 14,\r\n1974, she married Willard A. Leipnitz at Hope Lutheran\r\n Church. Willard died on March\r\n2, 1991. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church\r\nand was a volunteer at Luther\r\n Hospital.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nSurvivors include\r\nher daughter, Deanna (Jay) Tyler of Eau Claire, two step-sons, Alan (Judith)\r\nLeipnitz of Prior Lake, MN, and Dr. Aleron (Carol) Leipnitz of Menomonie; step-daughter,\r\nAlyce (Robert) Sedore of Plymouth, MI; brother, Elmer (Ann) Felton and sister,\r\nLola (Albert) Johnson both of Eau Claire; seven, step-grandchildren and\r\nnineteen, step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and special\r\nfriends. \r\n\r\nShe was preceded in\r\ndeath by her husbands; parents; step-father, Harold Felton; and brothers,\r\nHarold Anderson and Charles Felton.\r\n\r\nFuneral services\r\nwill be at 11a.m., Friday, January 14, 2011 at Hope Lutheran\r\n Church with Pastor Randy\r\nOlson officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery.\r\nVisitation will be one hour prior to the services at church.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
