Obituary

Hazel L. Hendrickson, 87, of 804 Garden St., Eau Claire, died Friday, May 17, 2002 at Oakwood Villa in Altoona. She was born on November 5, 1914 in Elk Mound, Wisconsin to Albert and Iva (Harshman) Paulson. \r\nHazel married Hans P. Hendrickson in Stillwater, MN on February 18, 1933.\r\nShe was a Triniteam volunteer for many years calling on area nursing homes. A member of Royal Neighbors of America and a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd where she was active in Women's Circle.\r\nSurvivors include her daughter, Bonnie (Harold) Svee of Elk Mound; three sons, Dennis (Mary) of Benson, AZ, Darrel (Sue) of Elk Mound and Mark (Joann) of Wausau; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; six step grandchildren; fifteen step great-grandchildren; sister, Dorene (Francis) Streveler of Eau Claire; brother, Virgene (Bonnie) Paulson of Wyoming, MN; four sisters-in-law, Betty Paulson of Altoona, Emma Long of Aurora, IL, Minnie Hendrickson and Agnes Ziehl both of Downsville; and a special friend, Boyd Welch of Menomonie.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hans in 1975; daughter, Shirley Gooden; infant son Roland; step grandchild Jeff Svee; brother, Laverne Paulson and sister, Wanda LaTour.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2002 at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd with Pastor Paul D.L. Oppedahl officiating. Burial will be in Forest Center Cemetery, Springbrook Township, Dunn County. Friends and relatives may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
