HELEN M. DICKSON, 78, formerly of Eau Claire, died Sunday, April 1, 2001 at her home in Orlando, Florida. She was born on June 6, 1922, in Eau Claire to Theodore and Laura (Olson) Stamos. \r\nShe graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1941. Helen married Donald K. Dickson on May 29, 1948 in Eau Claire. \r\nThey were members of Bethesda Lutheran Brethren Church in Eau Claire. Helen and Don lived in Eau Claire until 1992, when they moved to Orlando, Florida where they became members of First Baptist Church of Orlando.\r\nSurvivors include, her loving family and husband, Donald of 52 years; daughter, Gloria (Roger) Fuller of Lancaster; a son, John (Karen) Dickson of Stanley; her grandson, Aaron Dickson of Stanley; brother, Clare (Evelyn) Stamos of Chippewa Falls; sister, Beverly (Kenneth) Bergum of Oak Brook, IL, several nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Douglas Lee.\r\nFuneral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2001 at Bethesda Lutheran Brethren Church with Pastor Morris Vold officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, Eau Claire and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
