Helen A. Engstrum, 83, of 815 Chapin St., Eau Claire, Wisconsin died Wednesday, September 4, 1996 at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home in Altoona, WI . She was born in Boswell, Indiana on November 16, 1912 to Seth and Daisy (Getting) Richcreek. \r\nHelen worked 20 years for Paramount Pictures while living in Chicago and Milwaukee. She married Joseph R. Engstrum in Milwaukee on September 25, 1954. They moved to Neillsville in 1957 where Helen worked at the Neillsville Courthouse until moving to Eau Claire in 1967. She retired as an administrative assistant at UWEC in 1977.\r\nSurvivors include two sisters, Marguerite Wallace of Twin Falls,ID and Eloise Smith of Tucson,AZ: a brother, Donald Richcreek of Great Falls,MT; two step-granddaughters, Kathleen (Ed) Faschingbauer of Eau Claire and Mary (Pat) McCrackin of Stanley, WI; four step-grandsons, Timothy (Kathy) Engstrum of Wausau,WI, William(Karen) Engstrum and Matthew (Ann) Engstrum both of Stillwater,MN and Christopher Engstrum of Mpls.; many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 1972; and two brothers, Herbert and LeRoy.Helen will be sadly missed by her relatives and many, many friends.\r\nBurial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Kentland, IN.
