Helen J. Severson, 87, of Eau Claire, was reunited with her daughter, Kathleen, on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Mayo Clinic Health System. She was born November 5, 1927, in Beldonville, WI, the daughter of Terrance and Aileen (Bartlett) Snow. She married Clare Severson on November 8, 1946, in Eau Claire. He passed away on October 30, 1989. Helen worked as a nurses aide for over 20 years, first at Mt. Washington Residence and later at the Syverson Lutheran Home. She retired in 1987. Helen loved to read and was a long time member of First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. She is survived by three children, Dan Severson, Susan (Bob) Everson and Robert "Bob" (Ginny) Severson, all of Eau Claire; three grandchildren Jeff (Sally), Jennifer and Jillian; six great grandchildren; a brother, Wayne (Gerry) Snow; and a sister, Kathryn Hurt. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Clare; their two year old daughter, Kathleen; two granddaughters, Heather Severson Black and Erin Everson Maslowski; a brother, Willard Snow; and a sister, Edna Krogman. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Avenue, Eau Claire, WI, with Pastor Amy J. Odgren officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, Town of Washington, at a later date. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral & Cremation Services is serving her family.
