Henry C. (Butch) Kuehn, 83, of Fall Creek died Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at his home. He was born in Lidgerwood, ND on April 10, 1920, the son of Charles and Martha (Wagner) Kuehn. \r\nHe served in the U.S. Army during World War II from October 1941 to November 26, 1945.\r\nHenry married Lucille Margaret Schlichter on June 20, 1948 in St. Paul, Minnesota.\r\nHe is survived by his six children: Charles (Connie) Kuehn, Mary Kuehn, Dorothy (Donald) Moen, Susan (Tom) Dahl, John (Michelle) Kuehn all of Fall Creek and Sally (Gary) Paulus of Fort Collins, Colorado; his ten grandchildren: Amanda, Alyson and Andrea Kuehn; Matthew Marcellis; John Brown; Samuel and Sophie Kuehn; Dustin Kuehn, Angela (Robert) Olinske, and Tylar Fry; two great granddaughters, Shannon and Mystic; his brother, Charles Kuehn; two sisters, Pearl Ratliff and Marion Abrahamson; and many nieces and nephews. \r\nHenry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lucille in 1983, and a sister June Kuehn.\r\nHe was a member of American Legion Voight Post #376 of Fall Creek, VFW Post #305 of Eau Claire and Ironworkers Local #512 of St. Paul, MN.\r\nMemorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2003 at St. James Trinity Lutheran Church, Fall Creek with Pastor Douglas E. Brandt officiating. Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of services Sunday at the church. A private burial will be at Trinity Cemetery in Fall Creek. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is assisting the family.\r\nIn lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to the Fall Creek Public Library, PO Box 426, Fall Creek, WI 54742.
