HILDA E. BUCHHOLZ, 82, formerly of 4400 LaSalle St., died Friday, September 29, 2000 at The Clairemont. She was born on December 15, 1917, in Bridge Creek Township near Augusta, Wisconsin, to August and Ottile (Zillmer) Rucks. \r\nHilda married Elgard E. Buchholz on May 8, 1938 in Augusta. They lived four years in Beloit and then returned to the Augusta area where they farmed until 1963. Hilda worked over 25 years as a nurse's aide at Sacred Heart Hospital until retiring in 1982.Hilda and Elgard spent much of their time in retirement fishing and camping.\r\nShe was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Hallie.\r\nSurvivors include three sons, Gary (Judy) of Sanger, CA, Ronald (Sandra) of Chicago, IL, and Dennis ( Peggy) of Fall Creek; a daughter, Sandra (Greg) Larson of McFarland; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Herb (Ada) of Fall Creek; three sisters, Dorothy Zank and Edna Schroeder both of Chippewa Falls, and Alfrieda Kuehn of Augusta; two sisters-in-law, Verna Hageness of Eau Claire, and Mildred (Harvey) Krueger of Englewood, FL; many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Elgard in 1992; four brothers, Albert, Henry, Fred and Walter; and two sisters, Esther Sieg and Martha Achtenberg. \r\nFuneral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Grace Baptist Church of Hallie with Pastor Brian Jahn officiating. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery in the Town of Hallie. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Monday at the church.
