Hilda Evelyn Froseth 98, of Eau Claire, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Care Partners in Eau Claire. Hilda was born on September 15, 1914, to John and Caroline (Market) Froseth in Spring Brook Township, Dunn County. She was raised there on the family farm with 7 brothers and 3 sisters. After moving to Eau Claire, Hilda worked at Webster Candy Company, 15 years at National Presto Industries, and retired from Consumers Co-op after 25 years. In retirement she volunteered at the Syverson Lutheran Home and World Service at Grace Lutheran Church. Hilda is survived by her sister; Irene Lockwood; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her seven brothers, Nels, Palmer, Harold, Herman, Julius, Clarence, and Raymond Froseth; two sisters, Norma Isakson and Gunda Swanson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Grace Lutheran Church, 202 W. Grand Ave. with Pastor David J. Irgens officiating. Visitation will start at 10 a.m. at church. Burial will be in Spring Brook Cemetery, Dunn County. Memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church, the Kidney Foundation, or donor's choice. A special thank you to the staff at Care Partners for the loving care Hilda received over the past few years.
