Our beautiful little guy, Hugh Kozbial Ernst, thirteen months, died peacefully in his father's arms on Friday, May 8, 2009.Hugh is survived by his parents Monty and Beth Kozbial Ernst of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; his grandfather (his dziadzia) Richard Kozbial of Eau Claire; his grandmother (his nana) JoAnn Litz of Union Grove, Wisconsin; his aunt Ardys Kozbial and his uncle Brad Westbrook of San Diego, California; his uncle Max Ernst of San Ramon, California; and his godparents Robert and Sue Duffeck of Waukesha, Wisconsin.He is predeceased by his grandmother Jane Kozbial and his grandfather Glenn Ernst.He will also be dearly missed by his caregivers Nikki, Christie, Danielle, Amy, and Amanda.A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2009, at Christ Church Cathedral, 510 S. Farwell St., Eau Claire, with The Very Rev. Robert L. Rademaker and The Very Rev. H. Scott Kirby officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at Christ Church Cathedral. Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving his family.In lieu of flowers, donations are strongly encouraged in Hugh's name to L.E.
