HULDA C. LARSON, 96, formerly of St. Johns Apts., 815 Chapin St, died Saturday, March 8, 1997 at Dove Health Care Center. She was born November 26, 1900 in Prairie Farm,WI to John and Anna (Weiy) Miller. Hulda married Martin Larson in Prairie Farm in 1919. In 1927 they moved to Menomonie and then later to Eau Claire. She worked in housekeeping at the Galloway and Commercial hotels and retired from the Eau Claire Motel in 1971. Hulda was a member of First Lutheran Church.\r\nSurvivors include two sons, Guy (Delores) of Eau Claire and Douglas (Janet) of Minnetonka,MN: nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.\r\nShe was preceded in death by four brothers, John, William, Emil and Herman Miller; three sisters, Edith Saxberg, Anna Bilse and Christine Tollefson.\r\nMemorial Services will be at 11 A.M. Saturday, March 15, at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Robert E. Esse officiating. Burial of cremains will be in St. Paul's Evangelical Cemetery, Town of Prairie Farm, Barron County at a later date. Friends may call 10:30 A.M. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.\r\nFamily requests memorials be directed to First Lutheran Church.
