Inez (Wagnild) Jenson, 94 was suddenly called to our Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2007 during a brief stay for respite care at the Clairemont Nursing Facility.\r\nShe will be remembered as a warm and giving person with a deep faith in her religion. Inez was always a hard worker with a strong sense of family. Inez touched many lives and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. In her early years, Inez was raised in the Norwegian language. She maintained a great love of her native tongue. Her loving family cared for Inez in her home for the past 13 months with the compassionate support of Northwest Wisconsin Hospice.\r\nInez was born on July 2, 1912 to Oliver and Gertie (Bendickson) Wagnild. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith where she remained a devoted member of Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church. Inez married Wilmer (Bill) Jenson on April 19th, 1930. He passed away on January 1, 1982.\r\nShe is survived by five children, Victor (Lori) Jenson, Donna (Ralph) Shager, Judith (Lyn) Dieter, Elaine (James) Giese, and David W Jenson; her 17 grandchildren, Marie (James) Krumenauer, Barb (Gary) Krumenauer, Debra (Steven) Smith, James (Carol) Mohr, John (Susan) Mohr, Paul (Nancy) Mohr, Bruce (Rhonda) Jenson, Brian (Jill) Jenson, Vicki (Geno) Johnson, Wendy (Ryan) Sterry, Amy (Chris) Doll, Erik (Hilary) Shager, Paul (Lynne) Dieter, Cathy (Bill) Dalton, Patty Dieter, Pamela (Bruce) Christopherson, and Julie Giese; and by 34 Great Grandchildren. She is further survived by Sister-in-law Edith Woinowski; and many caring nieces, nephews, and friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband Wilmer (Bill) Jenson, daughter Doris Mohr, grandson Mark Jenson, Sisters Beatrice Nelson, Gladys Market, and brother Orris Wagnild.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church in Elk Mound, with the Rev. Dean C. Brockmeier officiating. Burial will be in Barum Cemetery in Elk Mound. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home in Eau Claire and one hour prior to services Thursday at church.
