IONE CLARICE HOLDEN, age 82, of 628 Chippewa St., died Wednesday, March 18, 1998 at The Clairemont She was born in Eau Claire on January 13, 1916 to Palmer and Helen (Schroeder) Peterson. Ione was a graduate of Eau Claire Senior High School. She married Ralph Holden at Christ Church Cathedral in Eau Claire.\r\nSurvivors include a son, Richard (Betty) Holden and a daughter, Helen Mills, both of Eau Claire; five grandchildren, Michael and Mark (Jane) Barstad both of Eau Claire, Julie Vocelka of Altoona, Brenda (Rodney) Pederson of Rogers, MN, and Randy Holden of Milwaukee; and seven great-grandchildren. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph in 1969; and a brother Norman Peterson.\r\nFuneral services were held on Saturday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home, with The Rev. Schuyler H. Van Gorden Sr. officiating. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery. Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home served the family.
