Irene I. Olson, 88, of 550 Grahm Avenue died Tuesday, April 30, 1996 at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born December 8, 1907 in Eau Claire to Sidney and Mary (Robinson) Woodford. Irene married Edward B. Olson on September 6, 1938 in Angola, Indiana. They resided in Detroit, Michigan until Edward's retirement and then returned to Eau Claire. Irene always looked forward to golfing and bowling with family and friends.\r\nSurvivors include a sister, Sarah Werlein of Eau Claire; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her husband, Edward in 1988; and her parents.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 2 P.M. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Mc Knight officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery, Town of Washington. Friends may call 4 to 7 P.M. Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
