Obituary

Irma K. Cole, 93, of Eau Claire died Thursday, July 20, 2006, at Clairemont Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Ironwood, Michigan on April 26, 1913, the daughter of Michael and Magelena (Juras) Miskovich. Irma graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood, MI. \r\nShe married Daniel Kulaszewicz in Bessemer, MI in 1938; Daniel died in 1953. Irma was united in marriage to Harry Cole on January 17, 1959, in Eau Claire; he died in 1964. \r\nIrma worked as a waitress for 37 years retiring from the coffee shop at Hotel Eau Claire in 1967. After her retirement, she continued to work part-time at Timm's Dairy.\r\nShe was a long time member of St. Patricks Parish, active in the "Brady Bunch".\r\nIrma is survived by her nieces and nephews, Patsy (Robert) Butala of Delaware; John (Judy) Walek of Minnesota; James (Barbara) Oravecz of Rhinelander; Steve Oravecz of Cudahy; and Carole (John) Whitwam of Eau Claire; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Ann Walek and Margaret Oravecz.\r\nMass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon on Monday, July 24, 2006, at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father William A. Dhein officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 26th in Hillcrest Cemetery at Bessemer, MI. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the church. \r\n
