Jacob F. Vogler, age 22, of the Village of Lake Hallie, died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in the Village of Lake Hallie on Monday, August 3, 2015. Jacob was born on June 13, 1993, in Eau Claire, to Jason and Julie (Freid) Vogler. He attended and graduated from Chippewa Falls High School with the class of 2011. While attending high school, he had taken great pride in tutoring and helping disabled students. Jacob worked as a mechanic for Haas Sons Inc. Jacob was very mechanically orientated and could fix just about anything that needed to be fixed. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jacob especially enjoyed mud bogging. From the first time you met Jacob, he was hard not to like with his awarding winning smile and bright blue eyes. He was always willing to help and do anything for anybody. Jacob was a loving and caring son, brother and a great friend to all who knew him. Jacob is survived by his companion in life, Kristie Hayes; his mother, Julie (Michael Kohls) Vogler of Eau Claire; his father, Jason "Jay" (Ann Cummings) Vogler of Eau Claire; two sisters, Janelle Vogler and her daughters, JaiLynn and J`Kiah of Eau Claire, Jessica Vogler (Tyler Gast) of Eau Claire; paternal grandmother, Sharon Vogler; maternal grandparents, Dennis and Barbara Freid; three aunts, Denise (James) Scheppke, Tamara (Scott) Chase and Julie (Thomas) Mooney; one uncle, Lance (Missy) Vogler; and also by many cousins, other relatives and many friends. Jacob was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bernard Vogler. A funeral service for Jacob will be held at 11am on Friday, August 7, 2015, at Our Savior`s Lutheran Church, 1310 Main St. in Eau Claire with Pastor Gail George officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home WEST CHAPEL, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave., in Eau Claire and also one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Inurment will be at a later date at Brunswick Cemetery, Town of Brunswick.
