Jacqueline A. Wilson passed away peacefully at The Classic at Hillcrest Greens on March 29, 2025 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Jackie was born September 9, 1937 to John P. and Corrine A. Sharp in Minneapolis, MN. She moved with her family to Eau Claire, WI in 1950 and graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1955. She worked for Presto Industries before marrying the love of her life, Clarence W. Wilson on May 11, 1957. Together they had three daughters, Sheryl A. Stabenow, Julie M. (David) Myers and Linda K. (Jeff Benson) Wilson.
Jackie had many hobbies including gardening, walking, dancing and her favorites Jazzercise and roller skating.
She is survived by her daughters, eight grandchildren, Eric (Sarah) Stabenow, Kyle (Alexandra) Stabenow, Ryan (Annie) Stabenow, Jenny (Moshe) Tsfadia, Christopher Myers, Thomas Myers, Jason (Lindsay) Fahl and Brian Fahl and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Elmer Sharp and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; her sister, Ruth O'DriscoII; sister-in-law, Mary Sharp; nephew, Jason Sharp; niece, Patty O'DriscoII; mother- in-law, Hazel Nesja and brother-in-law, Bruce Peterson as well as half siblings, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank The Classic at Hillcrest Greens and St. Croix Hospice for their wonderful care for the last four and a half years and her brother Elmer Sharp for his unending support and visits.
Jackie chose cremation and made the decision to not have a funeral service however memorials would be appreciated to The Alzheimer's Association.
