She was born March 24, 1927 in\r\nYakima, WA, the daughter of Peter J. and Ruth (Brown) Gardner. A year later the\r\nfamily moved to the Twin Ports area and Jacquelyn attended schools in Superior,\r\nWI and Duluth, MN, earning degrees at the College of St. Scholastica and the\r\nUniversity of Minnesota. In 1947 she entered the Order of St. Benedict, and for\r\n27 years served in educational and administrative positions. Leaving the Order\r\nin 1974, she moved to Eau Claire, and was employed as a medical\r\ntranscriptionist at Sacred Heart Hospital, and subsequently as Supervisor of\r\nthe Business Division at Chippewa Valley Technical College. In 1977, Jacquelyn\r\nmarried Thomas J. Graham, Sr. They continued to live in Eau Claire, traveling,\r\ngolfing, enjoying numerous winters in AZ and a plethora of friends.\r\n \r\nJacquelyn is survived by dear step-children including daughters, Mary (Tuppy)\r\nReilly, West Hartford, CT and Patricia (Fred) Seggelink, Medford, OR; son,\r\nThomas J. (Penny) Graham, Jr., Eau Claire; daughter-in-law, Linda St. Louis,\r\nFarmington Hills, MI; sister-in-law, Lorna Gardner; cousin, Patsy Jo Campbell;\r\nmany nieces and nephews; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and\r\nlong-time friend, G. Ruth McMillen. \r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; step-son, Fred; parents and\r\nbrother, Thad J. Gardner. \r\n \r\nA memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 1712 Highland\r\nAvenue, Eau Claire, on Saturday, Jan. 29th at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of\r\nflowers, the family suggests memorials to Sacred Heart Hospital Cancer Center,\r\n900 West Clairemont, Eau Claire WI 54701 or to the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic,\r\nP.O. Box 231, Eau Claire, WI 54702.
