James Henning, 55, of Star Prairie, formerly of Eau Claire passed away on July 20, 2013, as the result of an unfortunate accident. James was a man of immense moral conviction, kindness, honesty that was demonstrated throughout his life. He did not compromise his faith in God, his love for his wife, Angel and his love of his sons, family and friends. He provided joy, laughter, and love to everyone he met. James was the beloved son of Norman and Elmie Henning of Eau Claire, WI. James' life was filled with the freedom of riding motorcycles and spending time with his loving wife Angel, and his friends who shared the same passion of riding. He also enjoyed hunting with his brother Dan, working in the garden with his Dad, canning with his Mom and sharing time with his family. James will be missed by his beloved wife, best friend and soulmate Angel; sons, Joe and Travis (Robyn and grandson Mason), his loving parents, Elmie and Norman; brothers, Dan and Wayne (Rhonda); sisters, Linda and Kim; and many neices and nephews. Angel's brothers and sisters, Randy (Leslie) Moore, Chris (Sandy) Doubet, Sandman, Bev (Don) Sansom, Perry (Tina) Stewart, Gerald Atol, Steve Gaines, Renata Norrgard, Lu (Jerry) Hinz, Billy (Deb) Stockman, and Steve (Chris) Sayeau; and also by all of those that filled his life with great joy. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Noon, on Friday, July 26, 2013, at Peace Lutheran Church, 501 E. Fillmore Ave. in Eau Claire with Pastor Mark W. Schulz officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday at the church. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Clear Creek. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving his family.
