James "Jim" E. Keith, 58, of Eau Claire died Saturday, January 22, 2005, at Luther Hospital. He was born in Ladysmith on July 20, 1946, the son of Edgar and Ardith (Alvey) Keith. Jim graduated from Bruce High School with the class of 1964. He served with the U.S. Army in Germany and later served in Vietnam.\r\nJim married Barbara Eidahl in Bruce on November 4, 1972. He worked at Presto, Walter Brewing Company, and Armour until his health declined. He then worked for Supported Employment Services.\r\nJim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and many outdoor activities. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and V.F.W. Post #305.\r\nHe is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Kristan (Wade) Motszko; son Kyle, all of Eau Claire; four brothers, Rodney (Alice) of Bruce, Larry (Helen) of Eau Claire, Robert (Becky) of Bruce, and Gary (Maryanne Kraeuche) of Chippewa Falls; sister, Phyllis (Robert) Peterson of DeForest; brother-in-law, Harold Woods of Oconto; former sister-in-law, Marilyn Keith of Gassoway, WV; father-in-law, Raymond (Carol) Eidahl of Rice Lake; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nJim was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vera Woods; and mother-in-law, Joyce Eidahl.\r\nFuneral services will be held 11a.m. Thursday, January 27, 2005, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Pastor Gary F. Sahs officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery where V.F.W. post #305 will conduct military rites. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Thursday at church.\r\n
