James Elmer "Doc" Stenz, 49, of 73 Golf Course Road, Madison, formerly of Eau Claire, died Saturday, November 11, 1995 at St. Joseph's Hospital, in Chippewa Falls,WI.\r\nJim was born March 12, 1946 to Elmer and Clarice Stenz in Corpus Cristi, Texas. He graduated in 1964 from Eau Claire Memorial High School and from U.W.E.C. with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. He was employed by the State of Wisconsin for the past 26 years, working for the Department of Natural Resources in the Madison area. Jim was an avid football (Badger) fan, and he enjoyed traveling.\r\nHe is survived by his mother, Clarice, Eau Claire; a daughter, Kelly Jo, San Diego, CA; his fiancee' Susan Mueller, Chippewa Falls; several aunts , uncles and cousins.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his father, Elmer James Stenz.\r\nFuneral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Eau Claire, with Rev. Thomas Bryan officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.\r\nFriends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.\r\nJim, "Doc", touched many lives with his kindness and generosity, as well as his great sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends.
