Obituary

James O. Suggitt, 68, of 422 W. Hamilton Avenue passed away Monday, April 22, 1996 afternoon at Sacred Heart Hospital. Jim was born December 3, 1927 to Orin and Mildred (Seyfarth) Suggitt in Goodells, Michigan. He served in the US Army during World War II and with the occupational forces in Japan until his honorable discharge in August 1947. He married Eleanor "Ellie" Anderson in 1975. Jim was production manager at Holsum Bakery for twenty eight years until his retirement in 1989. \r\nHe was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, VFW Post 305, American Legion Post 53, Elks B P O Lodge No 402 and the American Bakers Assoc. \r\nSurvivors include his wife, Ellie; his children Patricia (Bill) Candell, Fred Suggitt, Tom (Cheryl) Anderson all of Eau Claire, Rita (Bill) Remmel of Schaumburg, IL, Amy (Jim) Malvin of Ham Lake, MN, and Konja (Scott) Humphries of Laramie, WY; his grandchildren, Jill, Kari and Billy Candell, Jennifer and Lisa Anderson, Kaitlin, Emily and Nicholas Malvin and James Oatman; a sister, Phyllis Handloser and a brother, Robert Suggitt both of Jackson, MI. \r\nJim was preceded in death by his parents. \r\nFuneral Services will be at 11 A.M. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Obert I. Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 305. Friends may call 4 to 7 P.M. Wednesday (Today) at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
