Jane L. Retallick, 72, of Eau Claire, died Sunday, November 21, 2010, at Luther Hospital. She was born on March 5, 1938, a daughter of Frank and Ethel (Johns) Retallick.\r\nJane was born with down syndrome and spent 68 years living with and being cared for by family. The last four years of her life she spent at Northwest Pathways to Independence under the auspices of Community Health Partnership.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ethel; brother, Harold Retallick; and sister, Lenore Tubbs. Jane is survived by her brother, Sam (Alice) Retallick of Eau Claire.\r\nA private family graveside service will be held for Jane on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Lakeview Cemetery with Rev. David Huber officiating.
