JANET B. NELSON, 75, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2000 at her home. Janet was born in Eau Claire on March 31, 1925 to Gustav and Marion (Guthrie) Nelson. She graduated from St. Olaf College and received her Masters Degree from Stanford University. Janet was a Registered Physical Therapist, and later taught and counseled in the Phoenix Union High School District. \r\nShe is survived by her sister, Yvonne Boberg of Eau Claire, a niece and a nephew.Janet was preceded in death by her parents.\r\nMemorial services will be held Saturday at Victory Lutheran Church in Mesa, AZ. Graveside committal services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday (tomorrow) August 26, 2000 at Lakeview Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating.
