Jason D. Belden, 20, of Eau Claire passed on to be with our Lord, Monday, March 8, 2004. He was born July 18, 1983 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire to Marjorie Cardin and Richard Belden Jr. He attended area schools at Roosevelt, DeLong and graduated from North High School in 2002. He was currently employed at Menard's.\r\nJason loved driving his new car and pursuing new and exciting interests, one of his most recent being skydiving. He especially loved the outdoors. Fishing the Brule and deer camp were two of his favorite things. \r\nJason was a very sensitive and caring young man, and will be missed dearly by his family and friends. We find some peace in knowing we will one day see his smiling face again and spend eternity together.\r\nSurvivors include his mother, Marjorie and step-father, David Cardin of Eau Claire; his father, Richard Belden, Jr.; two brothers, Patrick and Andrew Belden both of Eau Claire; sister, Brooke Belden of Eau Claire; step-brother, Joe (Lisa) Cardin of River Falls; two step-sisters, Jaclyn and Andrea Cardin both of River Falls; grandparents, Dick and Joyce Belden of Eau Claire and Clayton and Margaret Cardin of Onalaska; nephew, Caleb Goetsch; niece, Taylor Rodefer; and his aunts, uncles and cousins.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lucille Krueger and Roland Sleeter.\r\nMemorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 11, 2004 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Kendal Anderson officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home. \r\n
