Obituary
Jay Scott Tyler, age 69, of Eau Claire, died Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Clearwater Care Center and Rehabilitation in Eau Claire. Jay was born December 21, 1948, in Eau Claire, to the late Alfred and Doris (Ames) Tyler in West Bend. He married Deanna L. Matthes on September 24, 1977, at Hope Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. Jay worked as a custodian for Menomonie St. Dental. He enjoyed bike riding, playing bingo, listening to music and attending the ice cream socials at Clearwater. He was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Jay was positive and kind and was always full of life. Jay is survived by his wife, Deanna of Eau Claire; and brother, Tom (Karen) Tyler of Placitas, NM. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Tyler. A private funeral service will be held. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire.
