Jeananne Louise Berg, 40, of Eau Claire died unexpectedly Saturday, February, 10, 2007, at Luther Hospital. She was born in Eau Claire on October 4, 1966, the daughter of James and Sandy Cain. Jeananne grew up in the Eau Claire area attending St Patrick's elementary and middle schools. She graduated from Regis High School in 1984.\r\nJeananne moved to Orange County, California after graduation. She had a beautiful baby boy, Jonathan Posada who died after only hours of his short life. Shortly thereafter Jeananne moved back to Eau Claire to be closer to her family. She worked at Sacred Heart Hospital performing various jobs. She then went to work at Luther Hospital in the Purchasing Department, and was currently enrolled in the Marketing Program at Chippewa Valley Technical College.\r\nJeananne married Marc Berg in Jamaica, on March 14, 1997, with Marc's mother and sister, Sara and Sonja Krumenauer as their witnesses. They recently divorced.\r\nJeananne enjoyed her family, gardening, camping, the beach, pools, sunshine, snow ball fights, building forts and fishing with her boys. Last summer she got so good she could even touch a worm and bait her own hook.\r\nJeananne is survived by her two sons, Jordan Cain and Tyler Berg at home; her parents, James P. and Sandy Cain; two sisters, Mary Jo (Charles) Meinholz and Julie Winberg all of Eau Claire; two brothers, Mike (Laurie) Cain of Chippewa Falls and James A. Cain of Stevens Point; and her very special friend David Brownell of Eau Claire. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews who were very special in her heart: Joshua and Jessica Meinholz, Anne, Stephanie, Ashley and Stacy Cain, Kristie, Megan and Zachary Winberg, and Taylor Cain, one great-niece Raven Meinholz; and her Yorkie "Kaitlyn".\r\nJeananne was a strong, affectionate and loving woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Our loving Mom, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Great-Aunt, Niece, Cousin and friend along with her smile and laugh will be missed forever and ever.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2007, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Father Edmund Klimek officiating. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
