Jeanette F. Ableidinger, age 79, of Eau Claire, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Prairie Pointe, Altoona, WI. Jeanette was born on September 2, 1939, in Eau Claire County, the daughter of Fred and Ida (Leslie) Christner. Jeanette was raised near Elk Mound, WI, where she attended Fall City school and helped raise her younger siblings on the family farm. She had a passion for music, and loved dancing and playing the accordion. She married Harold "Allen" Hanson on July 13, 1959, and was blessed with two children. She later married Laurence Wold on December 2, 1966, then later Dennis Ableidinger on March 31, 1989. Throughout her life, she worked at numerous area electronics plants, including Chiptronics, Fabritech, Memorex, Burroughs, and Rockwell Automation. During her free time, Jeanette would watch birds and wildlife around her home, and cherished time with her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family. Jeanette will be deeply missed by her son, Wayne (Lynn) Hanson of Menomonie, WI; daughter, Cynthia (Mark) Bauer of Fall Creek, WI; brothers, Fred Christner of Duluth, MN, and Alvin (Connie) Christner of Elk Mound, WI; sister, Velma (Dale) Atchison of Cadott, WI; sisters-in-law, Jean Christner, Betty Christner, and Joyce Hanson; brother-in-law, Vernon (Ruth) Hanson; grandson, Joshua Bauer of Eau Claire, WI; granddaughter, Crystal (Timothy) Hallin of Osceola, WI; numerous step-children and step-grandchildren; and former husband and friend, Laurence Wold. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Harold "Allen" Hanson and Dennis Ableidinger; and siblings Alfred Christner, Dorothy Holte, Glen Christner, Zelda Larson, Jerry Christner, Richard Christner, and Donald Christner. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 pm on Friday, December 21, 2018, at the WEST CHAPEL of Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave. in Eau Claire with a memorial service beginning at 3 pm, with Pastor Debra Boynton officiating. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Grace Lutheran Communities, P.O.
