JEANETTE M. GRINSEL, 85, of 425 W. Grand Ave., died Wednesday, January 20, 1999 at her residence. She was born December 1, 1913 in Eau Claire to William and Mary (Hanson) Campbell. Jeanette attended the Eau Claire public schools, and Eau Claire Business College. She served in the U.S. Navy Reserves from Oct. 1942 to Oct. 1945.\r\nJeanette married John "Jack" Grinsel on June 15, 1959, in Stillwater, MN.\r\nShe was employed by the Wisconsin Department of Labor, Industry, and Human Relations for thirty eight years, retiring in Dec. 1975.\r\nShe was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church and was a member of VFW Post 305. \r\nShe is survived by a daughter, Moe (Dick) Hawley of Harrisburg, OR; three step-sons, John of Sparks, NV, James (Diane) of Wausau, and David (Kathy) Grinsel of Neenah; eight step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren; three nephews, Daniel (Ann Marie) Campbell of Maple, Robert (Mary) Campbell of Eau Claire and Tom Campbell of Madison; a niece Kathy (Joe) Aldworth of Madison; four great nieces; two great nephews; and a sister-in-law, Beth Campbell ofEau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; four brothers, Roy, Harold "Hickory", Norman "Dan", and Gordon "Doe"; and a sister, Helen Hess.\r\nMemorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Richard O. Goins of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.\r\nThe family requests memorials be directed to First Baptist Church , American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
