Jeanne Marie (McSorley) Bartle, 59, of Eau Claire, died Thursday, December 14, 2006, at her home surrounded by her family.\r\nShe was born on March 14, 1947, in Eau Claire to Raymond and Olive McSorley. She graduated from Regis High School in 1965.\r\nShe married Terance W. Bartle on July 16, 1966 at St James the Greater Catholic Church in Eau Claire. \r\nJeanne was currently employed by Wal-Mart of Hallie. Throughout the years she was employed at several places, including Mega Mart, Sam's Club and Dotronix. \r\nJeanne was a member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church and St. Maria's church group.\r\nShe will be missed by her laughter and the deep love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren. Her "favorite" hobby was being a grandma. She always made you feel special no matter who you were. In the summer she always enjoyed going to Irvine Park with her grandchildren and having dress up tea parties with her granddaughters. She also enjoyed her many motorcycle rides with her husband, Terry.\r\nShe always had fun spending time with her sisters, sisters-in-law and nieces on "girls day out." \r\nShe is survived by her husband, Terance, a son, Christopher (Michelle) Bartle of Eau Claire; a daughter, Stephanie (Tom) Moore of Eau Claire; six grandchildren, Joseph, Gabrial, Jacob, Alyssa, Kylie, and Katelyn; four brothers, William (Lila), Larry (Jeanette) and Dennis (Nancy), all of Eau Claire and Arthur (Diane) of Phoenix, AZ; four sisters, Kathleen (Art) Lanman of Bloomington, MN, Deanna (Jim) McDonald of Belle Plaine, MN; Virginia Rudd of Riverside, CA, Jan (Walt) Legge of Eau Claire; three sisters-in-law, Deanie and Betty McSorley, and Sandy (Clarence) Helland; mother-in-law, Ouida Wisbroecker; and by many nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Patricia; two brothers, Jerome and Raymond Jr.\r\nMass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2006, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, with Father John A. Schultz celebrating the Mass. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Eau Claire. Family and friends may call Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, where there will be a public prayer vigil service at 7 p.m., and one hour prior to Mass Monday at the church.
